Valentine's Day Romper Roundup

Valentine's Day is on a Sunday this year, so most of you are probably going out on a Saturday and staying in bed late the morning over. And what better to wear when sleeping in than a romper? The three-piece lingerie suit is great for the night before, but you'll want some comfort the morning after. Helloooo loverrrrr. I feel like this set just purrs and speaks for itself, no? The way that suspender belt is cut is unlike any other I've paid attention to in almost a year—and with the amazing silhouette it helps shape, how could I resist? I love the raspberry gradients in this set, partially created by black mesh overlays that add a bit of naughtiness *tsk tsk*. I normally hate that adjective (naughty) to describe lingerie, but this one's a little nice with a little spice. You agree, right? Yep, that's what I thought.

LBL: Little Black Lingerie. Honestly, you really can't go wrong with black lingerie. Especially when it's in the form of this lacy set from Stella McCartney. I may or may not have silently freaked out when I saw this the other week (really, my internal monologue was something like this: "OMGOMGOMGOMG WHYYYYYY IS IT SO PRETTYYYYY") and I haven't been able to get it out of my head ever since.

Gentlemen, if you're reading this particular post, Valentine's Day lingerie gifts are not limited to red and pink, nor outrageously sexy and borderline inappropriate for life in general. Oh, the Francophile. The fille who dreams of Paris, strolling along the Seine while nibbling on macarons and carrying a baguette under her arm. I saw this set on at least the first four websites I browsed while looking for items to include in the gift guides I have coming up, and of course I couldn't resist posting this one on it's own. IT'S JUST SO PRETTTTYYYYYY. Y'all know I'm a sucker for Mimi Holliday's plunge bras, and the eyelash lace detail in this set is just to die for. Can you imagine that lace fanning out on your fanny? An Only Hearts Valentine's Day!

Last Thursday, I happily attended an Only Hearts trunk show at Anthropologie SoHo and it was just as lovely as you would imagine it to be. I had the pleasure of meeting a few of the Anthropologie ladies as well as the Only Hearts team, and it was really exciting to hear about how Anthro is stepping up their intimates game in a way that other RTW retailers really should really pay attention to.

Kaya & Helena Stuart

I also got to meet Helena and Kaya Stuart, the completely adorable mother/daughter design duo behind the label, and talking to them only made me love their line more. I loved telling them how I wore the all-lace cropped cami with a high-waisted skirt and I realized that for them, hearing how other people wear the pieces and make them their own is a big part of what makes their jobs so enjoyable.
