I don't post chemises all that often (well, not ones like this at least) mostly because 1. they're not really my style, 2. I rarely wear dresses anymore, so why would I wear one in the bedroom, and 3. I feel like these are usually styled to look like what the heroine of a Danielle Steel novel would wear. Full disclosure: I have never read a Danielle Steele novel, though I was a huge Mary Higgins Clark fan in middle school. Don't tell my mom.

But this one by Fleur't caught my eye for a few reasons. I love that it looks more expensive than the $98 price point, and I also love that it's all black—even the lace trim—and has great potential to be styled as a going out outfit, with the proper foundations of course. Bow-Chika-Bow-Bowww... Let's Talk About Bows, Baby

By that, I specifically mean bows on lingerie. I think I've posted very few sets that involve bows. They're not really my style, they're kind of difficult to wear out without having a hump in your butt, and going to the bathroom can incite fears of the bow dipping into the toilet inadvertently (you know, if it's a big bow). Even these Mimi Holliday bottoms with a little silk ribbon tie in the back are kind of a pain in the butt (haha, pun intended). But alas, that thong with the little silk bow led to the suggestion, "You should get more lingerie with bows." Ugghhh.

'Ello, loves! Did ya miss me? I know there have been a lack of posts the past couple of weeks; I blame a horrific moving experience, my birthday, and the discomfort of not yet having a desk at home so my lovely Mac desktop is on the floor (which is where I lay as I type this now). Diamonds may be a girl's best friend, but sapphire-hued lingerie takes "lover" status, especially with patterned mesh panels and unconventional shoulder straps. This plunge bra is perfect for the ladies who are on the smaller side of an A-cup since it runs a bit shallow, but the underwire gives a lil' bit of lift too.
