The Scoop on Black Friday...

Happy Thanksgiving, my dears! I'm a little delirious from prepping cooking + putting together this one-stop shopping post for the best Black Friday sales, but I'm looking forward to sleeping in a little, drinking the bottle of Sancerre I found today, and eating my heart out at dinner.

So I'm not a big fan of stores being open on Thanksgiving day, but a lot of online retailers are starting their Black Friday promos today and hey, that doesn't hurt anyone (or too many people…). And you can shop on your phone under the table while your crazy aunt or uncle is going on and on at dinner. Here's a roundup of some lingerie sales (and sales on sites that sell lingerie… and also some of my favorite clothes in general), and a few choice items from each. There are some great Cyber Monday deals a-comin' too, so check back Monday morning to see what those are.

Pure Instinct: A Thanksgiving Day Animal Print Roundup

Happy Thanksgiving! This year I'm thankful for all of you dear readers, and for having the time this week to clean up the design of PLU a little bit. And again, thank you all for staying with me over the past two years through highs (frequent posts) and lows (not so frequent posts). I'm xcited for what's to come in the future, and I hope you are too!

Now, another thing I'm thankful for: animal prints and the variations on the animal prints. Swim Sales Say Goodbye to Summer

Or at least that's what it feels like. It's still August but I feel like this summer has whizzed by and just slipped through my fingers. My sadness required me to mix similes. The Summer Playsuit Roundup / Sale Edition

One of the things I love about The Outnet is that they always have fabulous items on sale. Yes, sizing can be limited, but that's part of the fun—it's a shopping scavenger hunt. Only the clever emerge victorious. The online savvy are rewarded. You get the idea.

I think robes can be tricky. Skimp on the quality of the fabric and it can look cheap. Make it too long and walking becomes shuffling. Make it too short and your fanny gets cold. Hump Day Pick: Valentine's Day Sale Edition

If you're a regular reader, you know that Pretty Little Underthings is obsessed with Journelle. Undrest is an adorable brand that makes some of the cutest sets I've seen. I usually find it at Anthropologie, but the prices for their pieces usually make me shy away. 

I just found this Lace Tuxedo set on sale online, but I wonder if it's marked down even more in-store. I'll have to stop by Anthro during my lunch break on Tuesday and see if I can find it! I love the little black bows and the velvet trim puts me in the mood for the holiday season.
